Obituary - William L. Poyntz, Lexington Herald (September 3, 1960)
William L. Poyntz, a former Lexingtonian, died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday at his home in Detroit, Mich., according to word received here.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothea Boyd Poyntz, and a daughter, Mrs. Herman Hylkema.
The body will arrive in Lexington at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and will be taken to the W.R. Milward Mortuary - Broadway, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Thomas C. Polk. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
