FORREST OAKES
COVINGTON - Services for Forrest (Fritz) E. Oakes, 84, were held Thursday at the St. Joseph Abby Cemetery. Father Charles Villere presided.
He died Tuesday at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington.
He was a resident of Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Oakes; stepson, Rev. C.L. Pasquier; daughter, Mrs. Patricia Bannon; stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucie P. Murphy; brother, William F. Oakes; five grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
