Dr. A.C. Williams Dies in Michigan, Interment Here
Dr. Aubrey C. Williams, 62, former resident of Vicksburg, died Sunday in Plymouth, Mich., where he had lived for the past 20 years.
Born in Vicksburg, Dr. Williams lived most of his younger life here. He was the son of the late Arthur and Minnie Hyland Williams. He was an osteopath in Plymouth.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Grace Walker Williams of Plymouth; two sons, John Williams and Donald Williams of Plymouth; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Briere of Westland, Mich.; his stepfather, Fred Clark of Baton Rouge; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Matt Williams of Baton Rouge.
The body will arrive in Vicksburg late today. Graveside services will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Howard Lips, pastor of Gibson Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
Pallbearers will be Douglas Fleming, Fred Welsch, C.M. Nelson, Sim Gibson, Thomas Victor Parker and Otis Houston.
