Wildcats Wallop Georgetown Five
University Quintet Rolls Up 56 Points to 11 by Tigers
Georgetown, Ky., Feb. 15 -- Playing in tip-top form the University of Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Georgetown Tigers here tonight by a score of 56 to 11. Under the terrific onslaught of the Wildcats the local boys failed to find themselves for the first 15 minutes of play, causing a near washout in the first period which resulted in a score of 29 to 2. However, they rallied slightly in the second period of play, making 9 points to the visitors 27. King, Atkins and Haydon started for the Kentucky team.
